12:03 ET Sector Watch: Biotech : -- Technical -- Despite weakness on the Nasdaq, the biotechs look strong to this point with the BTK higher by 2.1%. The index is strong on a relative basis as it's just shy of the day's best levels with the Nasdaq trading in the lower half of its intraday range. BTK has backed off near-term resistance in the area of 528-530 which represents an area of congestion around its May lows. If it would break higher over the next several days, faces additional overhead in the 541/543 area which constitutes prior congestion and approximates a 38% retracement of the recent sell wave. Intraday, wouldn't want to be long on a break under 521.
