btw,is that the same Paul Shread who posts on SI?

EMC was the darling just a few months ago oh how things change fast these days:

"Before the market opened, EMC executives told analysts they could not provide any detailed guidance for the near term. EMC Chief Financial Officer Bill Teuber said the firm's ability to forecast had been ``significantly impaired'' as global tech spending stalls."
