Hello Slider! Welcome to the Boom Boom Room. Let me begin by congratulating you on your Gold call. When you look at the candlestick chart, look back to the end of March and beginning of April. At the bottom of the trend, you'll notice a Hammer Pattern. This pattern indicates a bottom is coming. The next two days showed a Bullish Harami Pattern. This pattern preceded by the hammer indicates a trend reversal. It's right there in sight for anyone to see. Then came the biggie! The MACD indicator crossed up and over the 9 day EMA line adding more confirmation that the trend reversal was underway. A lot of us took initial positions in gold stocks at that point. Maybe that's why the index rose. A lot of us were getting in. Slider, you're a smart guy. You should take the time to learn the sticks. They'll help you time your trades a little better so you won't have to sit around and wait for the rest of us to catch up to your forward thinking.
