Guess that depends on the meaning of "crook". I certainly consider obstruction of justice, especailly by a lawyer to constitute criminal activity and there is no doubt in my mind Nixon participated in the coverup of an illegal and ill-advised burglary. I doubt he was aware of the burglary when it was committed but the cover up alone is sufficient reason to impeach and remove him without regard to the underlying act, just as Clinton's attempted coverup was eqully good reason to impeach and remove him. Clinton and Nixon are both crooks in my book. The only difference is that Nixon had the dignity and grace to resign.
