Maybe you are right. Even though Condit is essentially a Bush Democrat, somehow I think the firestorm of talk-show innuendo and salivation for a possible resignation or at least defeat next year may be about bottom line than politics. Plus, if it turns out Condit still knows more than he's saying, each one wants to be able to say they were the frist to report it.
