Conservatives lean towards the status quo, even if that means accepting a socialist America with individual liberty being threatened at every turn. Liberals are NOT innovators... they want oppressive power over individuals which harkens back before the reign of Ghengis Khan. They are out and out Statists. The timeworn battle is between individual liberty and collectivism. Conservatives are not defending individual liberties... Liberals, for the most part, try to undermine them. The battleground is ideas... the prize is the human mind.
