Eichler, I first saw that Falling Trading Channel on one of LG's charts and plotted it on my QQQ daily chart. That convinced me to dip my toe in the shorting pool for the first time. I am not very confident with shorting and I have not done very well because I chicken out too soon. But then I go back a little later. But at any rate, we have to look at all these other patterns and analysis in the context of an overall trend down. I realize now that the down trend bails out errors for shorts just as the long up trend bailed me out when I was going long. I would be filthy rich if I had been a LTSAH (Long Term Short and Hold) for the last couple of years(ggg). Best, JRH
