I think your numbers are low for acquisitions of reserves and perhaps your purchase average is for resources?
World Gold shows an average of $57 for reserves acquired in 2000 which includes operations with infrastructure but even greenfields show averages well above $10 Barrick paid $63 for 2.2 million ounces for Pangea and $92 for Sutton based on 3.8 moz now about 7 million so say $45.
