Dear Paul:

Intel assumed little or no price war in their Q2 CC. Well, they already reversed themselves by their actions, planned price drops of another 50% on P4s and other CPUs. Given the previous discount to lists on Pricewatch, I can imagine ASPs bellow $100 for Intel. Can they afford a hit of $1B to their bottom line (IAG before tax operation profits)? They must be hoping that they sell more than double the CPUs. The last ones didn't.
