Why 7 days? It's a continuous process. 7 days after that will be pretty important, too. Markets seem pretty well balanced for now. IBM, MSFT and most big name old economy companies not doing too badly, and the US tax rebate will add some liquidity. On the other hand, telco will take years to recover, the American consumer is about tapped out for now, and lots of investors getting slowly bled out. Crash scenario in 7 days seems a little far fetched. Let's see where stand July 30. CD
