Kumar, notice that Helen Clark can spell 'loser' correctly. Also, the armed forces didn't say 'bang bang', they used the correct pronunciation which was 'brrrmmmm' as they pretended to drive their jeeps over the Waiouru countryside and a kind of 'ppyewww' when they pretended to fire their slingshots. Everyone knows that shanghais and slingshots don't go 'bang'. Typical journalists getting it all wrong. In fairness, sometimes the soldiers pretend to backfire the jeeps for added reality, which would explain the 'bang, bang', but usually they just backfire once.

PS: Thanks Uncle Frank for pointing out that stupid article.
