I don't see the giddily bullish sentiment readings in the short term, Paul. With the complacency index and other indicators, such as the VIX and VXN, I saw the opposite yesterday: gloom and doom. The bias seemed to be toward bearishness, with a high demand for puts in the S&P and Naz. So it was a shorter-term bullish signal, with the markets oversold. Mind you, I'm looking at the short term. But I'm holed up in my recently installed bomb shelter, so there are a lot of things I don't see.
