Now that McData is fully spun off from EMC, is it possible that the new E/OS software will be a big source of future revenue? From the latest earnings: "Revenue from software and professional services totaled $4.8 million, increasing 210 percent over second quarter 2000." biz.yahoo.com One of McData's obvious problems is their dependency on EMC for revenue (68%). It seems to me that they are doing a good job of diversifying their revenue streams for future growth, independent of EMC. Regards, -B
