--In Chomsky's estimation, supporters of the war who later criticized the administration for not going all the way to oust Hussein from office misinterpret the war's objectives.-- more and more it appears to me that the entire war was about cementing sadam's grip on power. do you remember how the u.s. let the republican guards out of the pocket and at about the same time told the shiites in basra to rebel, then when the shiites rebelled the u.s. provided them no help but instead watched from about 1 kilometer away as those same republican guards wiped the shiites out? by then our press was calling powell and schwarzkopf heroes... sadam is a cia plant. if the war had been prosecuted in a logical manner, the republican guards would have been wiped out in that pocket. but bush and his oil buddies couldn't have that because then sadam would have lost basra (shiite) and the (kurdish) north. it was all about making the middle east more stable for the oil interests. the modern state of israel isn't jewish. the 'star of david' (star of solomon) represents baphomet much more than it represents G-d. the swastika is about as relevant to 'anti-semitism' as the 6-pointed star is to judaism; in other words, in both cases there is no relevance whatsoever. obviously, world events are now being manipulated on a grand scale. so tell me, who is the 'man behind the man behind the man?' or did the women take over already? as mr. roper once said in 3's company, 'sure there'll be no more war... they'll just nag us to death.' andy
