Agree 100 percent. This entire Bush-Repug sham of extending full rights to all Hispanics living in the United States is simply a desperate ploy by the Republican Party to broaden its base via the back door. Won't work. There's a reason 9 of 10 Africa-Americans voted for Gore-Lieberman on Nov. 8, and there's a reason that 7 of 10 Hispanic Americans voted for Gore-Liberman on Nov. 8. It's called the party platform.
