The markets have been extremely choppy the last week -- to choppy for me. I had been trading based on the clearly defined periods between successive highs and successive lows which was about 20 days. That seems to have ended and the market is now deciding what it wants to do. I'd like to tell it but it is not listening! Therefore I'm camped out on the fence. I have an appointment with an interior designer who is going to make the fence more comfortable. I can hardly wait.

Don't know what to make of NT - it's at the lower BB within a very narrow band and also looks sold out technically in many respects, but I just don't like it.

Their paper was downgraded this morning to a mere two classifications above junk - who's going to renew on that basis when it comes time to roll over? Not the insurance companies and banks that financed them in the first place, that's for sure.

If they run it up for some bizarre reason, I'd whack the heck out of it in the mid-teens - the SMA100 should keep a lid on it.
