Dan, <But they had the guts to be honest this time, and I think Intel knowingly erred during their CC.>

What is AMD being honest about? Losses? Whoop-dee-do, any company under the threat of shareholder lawsuits will be honest about that. That's about as meaningful as Bill Clinton being "honest" about the Lewinsky affair only after the stained dress turned up.

Meanwhile, you accuse Intel of being dishonest, but what reason does Intel have to be this way? Denial?

Huh? Compared to the snow job AMD laid on its shareholders right up until their "pre-announcement," their admission of a loss for Q3 hardly qualifies as "guts." Jerry and his fellow owners-of-fewer-shares-than-a-month- ago have sure convinced you, though.
'Droids accused Intel of dishonesty during its mid-quarter update. Now we have to listed to that drivel again. Intel had a comparatively good quarter and are poised to have a much better quarter than AMD. Live with it.
