PALO ALTO, Calif. (Reuters) - Network computer maker Sun
Microsystems Inc. (NasdaqNM:SUNW - news) on Thursday said its

continued to hit technology spending.

diluted share, from $659.5 million, or 21 cents per share, a year earlier.

Dear Michael and all: Well, a quick glance at the press release indicates SUNW has suffered along with the rest. The negatives I see are reduced revenue and gross margins, increased days receivables, and increased inventory levels. I will withhold comment on the positives till I learn what the company says in the conference call. jdn
