Microchip (MCHP) 34.09 +1.85: Reports Q1 earnings of $0.16 a share, in line with the First Call consensus of $0.16; revenues fell 21.9% to $138.89 mln vs. consensus of $136.7 mln; "As indicated in our June 14 business update, we believe that the inventory correction has almost run its course, based on an increase in turns orders and slowing of pushouts and cancellations. NQ's breaking the 62% retracement again....I guess we are solidly in the "Despair phase" of this bear market.....people are to afraid to look forward....several companies beat earnings in rough conditions and are still being discounted....the end is near!
