MSFT book value lost more than $1 in this quarter. That's $5.5 billion in shareholds equity. Well, nobody will pay attention to it.

Not a barrel (which is largely at the whim of the currents) but more a kayak (which is largely directed by the guy with the paddle). (VBG)

(A few years ago, a seemingly well balanced teenaged kayak enthusiast had his pals videotape his kayak trip over Niagara Falls. He conviction that his skills would see him successfully negotiate the "descent" was shown to be inappropriate.)
