fed cuts are mostly psychological. it's been six months and six cuts and companies are already pushing out the recovery to 2002. you really think a couple more cuts are going to magically fix everything when 6 cuts so far haven't done squat?

how come it only took 3 fed cuts to get the market to bottom and explode in 1998? we didn't have to wait a year or more then, why should we have to now after twice as many (larger) cuts and the market expecting a seventh? isn't that telling you that something else is at work here?
