*OT* Velo- A buddy of mine is on the fast track at Softie.....

He met w/Ballmer this past week. When the earnings announcement came out last week, I chided him for it...because the stock was technically going to hell, and it looked like a totally manipulated announcement (timing-wise), and it looked to me like Softie was trying to keep the stock up going into options ex (given their exposure). He said he was going to ask Ballmer about it (he didn't know....)

I can't wait to talk to him again....I am going to reem his a$$ for this shite....(excuse my language, but I'm am so sick of this freakin' manipulation by greater powers. It is so unethical it's not even funny....if Allen or any of those board members, or any management, or any house sold in the last few days (knowing what was coming) or if Microsoft did this willfully to keep price up...all of which is probably happened....they deserve the harshest criticism). Honestly, this pisses me off much more than pay $10 extra for Windows..

I had no money on the line in this one, but I feel bad for the people who did. Been there, done that.
