I wish I could say this was a master plan, but I had experimented with VRTS with uncovered calls recently and did reasonably well. Don't tell UF. :) With the massive amount of volatility lately, I wanted to maximize the premiums being granted. In the end I was debating going short completely versus covered calls, and wanted to see how this strategy will work out, as uncovered worked reasonably well with VRTS. I would like to hear other thoughts of strategies out there. later
