Could someone give me a site for a crash course on TA. After watching this market, it is clear why they call it a traders' market. My stocks held up well but what is the point of holding on to the MSFT types when they are not going anywhere. That was my reason for dumping a lot of long positions yesterday. (and MSFT you never hold past earnings anyways). I am looking to do more daytrades and realize that TA can come in handy often (and especially in times of indecision). I mean the TA that is commonly used by people posting here.

Zeev, apologies given. That call was for anyone thinking BRCM is a LONG TERM buy. No I do not consider you an idiot and you know that. We are playing the same market, just different sides of it. It seems we both did quite well on BRCM today cause when I was -3 (I entered a short at 42 yesterday). I bought puts, and held the short. Absurd gap ups are to be shorted until proven otherwise. This is just the same as when something goes a bit against you and you double up. All that matters is being correct. What is interesting is we both did very well today on BRCM on opposite sides of the trade. The "idiots" bought long at 45 and held or shorted at 40 yesterday and panicked out today down 10%. Hope this clarifies. Note: Idiot is a harsh term but it is the truth. Ask Me I KNOW!!!! I have been a idiot far too many times. ggg M
