Unfortuneatly I would have to agree with you. AMD's post split low was set after five record Qtr's in a row with a sixth still to come. With losses likely this Otr and much uncertainty after that I think that we will see a new low before we get any real upward price movement. But than again this dead cat does tend bounce a lot for some short term trading.
