You are not alone wanting to cover short position so I expect that some of this 3% AH NDX tanking will dissappear shortly after NDX and S&P settlement prices are determined. It seems that they needed settlement price closer to 1650 than 1700. I suggest that you settle near open if the price is right if we don't fall any farther before open.

I was watching NDX 1700 call prices for last 2 days stay about 20 and decided to roll the dice with short 1700 NDX call that I had opened on 7/5 after 30 pt pre market NDX rally fizzled out and we lost 60 for the day for a 90 pt swing in one day.
