Re: Very LATE next year

Any sign of the 2GHZ P4's that were going to be flooding the market immediately following the Holiday Selling season of 2000? They would appear to be over 7 months late.

Meanwhile, 1.4GHZ Palominos, solidly faster than 2GHZ P4s are showing up on pricewatch with ETA's of late this month and early next month.

Palomino notebooks are on the shelves of every PC retailer (including, I have personally verified, CompUSA - Intel's best buddy).

Palomino SMP servers are slowly entering the market - with 8 pages on pricewatch.

Any sign of a P4 notebook? How late is that going to be? How about the Itanium servers, scheduled to ship in 1998?

AMD SMP servers managed to beat Itanium to market!
