It's likely late where you are. Get some sleep, look at US v. Miller as you said you would, and we'll pick it back up then. I don't particularly succumb to the rhetoric of the NRA or the Brady folks. I like to look at the root document [Constitution] the writings of Madison on the Bill of Rights and the historical documents of the Court's decisions, their interpretations, and the documents that they refer to. I'm not actually "pleased" with how the Court has interpreted protected arms within US v. Miller, but my pleasure isn't a consideration, so I'll argue for how the Court has interpreted protected arms and not what pleases me. jttmab
