Go back to high school civics class. A car is a Privelege and subject to government regulation and control. Owning a gun is Right and cannot be infringed upon because it is guaranteed by the Constitution. You people always want to confuse the 2.

Not a very nice response Jeff.

Why don't you humor me a little bit and point out where the Constitution differentiates between right and privelege?

After you've done that, how about explaining how registration infringes on a right?

After that, you can explain how the Colonies/13 States insured that the militia was properly and appropriately armed without knowing who had arms. If the Colonies/13 States inspected the militia were they infringing on the 2nd?

I've been told that none of the colonies outlawed the death penalty, so the framers and the States believed it was Constitutional. So the same logic should follow here as well, if the Framers and colonies inspected the militia then they did not see it as a infringement.
