Chung Hwa Telecommunications Selects Avici Systems and Riverstone Networks for Next-Generation Network Deployment Taiwan's Largest Telecom Operator to Leverage TSR(R)and RS 8000 Platforms for Operational Efficiency and Service Delivery

The deployment consists of Avici TSR's supporting up to OC-192c/STM-64 speeds and Riverstone RS 8000's supporting interfaces including Fast Ethernet, T1/E1, POS/SDH STM-1 and ATM STM-1.
