Remember when Peter Arnett was asked if he had knowledge of an impending ambush of American troops by an enemy, would he warn them? He said he wouldn't do it, it would violate journalistic ethics. I don't think Rather would hesitate. And I think a lot of journos would answer the way Arnett did.
