how would you know? where do you get your information about china? the evening news?

no one ever said you could change political systems overnight. look at that pathetic excuse for a country russia as an example. they tried to go from communists to capitalists overnight and now they are in shambles. china has been much smarter about changing at an orderly pace.

why must everyone on this thread see everything as black and white? just because i point out that china is making huge strides in the direction of free markets you all rush to point out to me that they are not anywhere near the level we have here in america. do you think i'm stupid and i don't realize that? it doesn't change my point which is you need to pay close to attention to the changes occurring in china because it is going to have huge impacts on us here in the u.s. over the next couple of decades.
