Jerome,

I think the next few months in this sector (and others) are going to be very interesting ..The ugly secret -that there won't be a recovery until calendar 2002- is out. Ceos' are claiming they have no visibility and therefore cannot issue guidance. I honestly expected a worst hit on stock prices than has occurred so far. Yet yesterday we get hints that SANM (an EMS company) should be ramping up for the 4th quarter and today I am seeing other EMS companies doing relatively well. Of course, it could all be option expiration related, but who knows? In any event, could there be an even bigger wall of worry that the market has to climb?

Jerome,
MSFT trade in the 71's right after they announced. Later they went into the 60's. A good sign for the market would be for msft to move back into the 70's in spite of next quarter warning. mike
