I have, myself, pointed out falsehoods palmed off as fact by AS. I figured he had it wrong, of course, but thanks for indisputable proof. A true moron.......

It's not Bush's tax plan. It's a putrid compromise; all that was left after the extremist liberals (Dem and Rep) got done mauling it.

It's not even accurate to call it a tax cut. The democrats have vowed not to let one pass and they have the numbers to make it stick.

" I call people when they lie like this."

I think AS's neighbor's were simply quoting the notice they got of their tax rebate....you probably have yours by now also... I'm willing to give benefit of doubt to AS's statement cause it is possible that what he said is exactly what his neighbor told him, ie " I got a rebate of $35 and did not say that it was just a notice telling him that he was going to get $35. You guys are quick to call your political opponents liars but I heard no one call JLA a liar when he said he wasn't an extremist and when he posted a number of 500% which was patently false.....I agree his 500% was clearly silly but he can't deny he fits the extremist category.... Someone else jumped on AS and reminded him that he had previously posted the tax rebates rules from the Vanquard site....well as it turns out that info wasn't complete since it didn't include the formula used to calculate one's rebate. It is not an either/or of $300 or $600. Is he a liar too? No, just didn't follow up on the details that were published later.
