<Teusday CC could create havoc one way or the other, but I doubt it the news has been so positive, short of an Earnings upgrade there is litlle I think that will ignite Qcom outside of an overall market move.>

Q Earnings are scheduled to to announced on Thursday not Tuesday at 1:30PM PST. If you've noticed Q has been taken longer than usual to announce the earnings after the quarter has ended. My guess would be the longer they delay, the better handle they can get on royalties collected.

How does fact QCOM's earnings being reported on Thursday and not Tuesday change your timing/price thoughts, if at all?

marginmike, 64 held very well; i thought today qcom was pretty strong, considering maxpain was still showing 60 and it should have tried to close lower. I am also holder Amgen and it closed not only above maxpain but up a pt.

I expect Q to close within a 1/2 point of 65

QCOM closed at $64.48, 2 cents under your prediction. You must be slipping <vbg>.
