I listened to Chambers on CNBC last night and without talking specifically about earnings, he indicated that capital spending is still not picking up, as he had talked to between 10 and 20 CEO's on his way to the banquet he was attending. I think it's in pretty much of a holding pattern. I've picked up a bit of profit here and there with CSCO options, but am making a killing on the MSFT and IBM options. Much more volatility. CSCO is probably dead money for a while. Glad Chic Hearne was the only one to take me up on my beer bet.knc

I think CSCO will run up from here before earnings
and depending on actual CC either fall back in this range or establish a new trading range higher. I think you have to play the stock now and depending on how nimble, trade in or out before the conference call. To my thinking, I think it is appearing very likely we will see 20 before earnings
date.
