Thomas,

I think you are little off

don't ask Flappy that...lol

Well, I am a LONG way from Canada, and I do not know the mind set of Canadian trucking companies, and truckers. I am NOT a long way from Mexico, and I also know a little about the mindset here. It is not a matter of a few code violations it is a matter of safety and costs. The Texas Dept. of Public Safety will put on more troopers to try and take care of some of this, but you have no idea how many trucks will be coming across the borders in a days time. According to estimates, with a totally open border, there will be up to 7 million crossings per year. That is OVER 19,000 per day.Can you imagine the use on the roads, not to mention the safety concerns of automobile traffic?

Currently there are about 4 million crossings and they are bound by a 20 miles rule.
