The COT showed ....
an increase of NDX shorts of 2552 contracts for a net of 16.43% short on 10504 contracts
9079 less shorts on the S&P for a net 9% short on 66725 contracts
they covered 438 DOW contracts and are now long 4.35% on 1186 contracts.

Of note, the commercials have covered over 12000 S&P contracts the last 2 weeks and as you pointed out, they may have been covering more the last couple days since this report only covers up to Tuesday.

==========

All charts updated, yes, even the 3 line break charts. Bearish short term formation on the NYSE but our indicators have a slight positive bias. Basically as I said, there are mixed signals everywhere.

Natural Gas still being pumped back up too fast with storage capacity at 62%, well above last year and slightly above the past 6 year average...
