Ira, thanks for your commentary. In my case, I'm long BEAS July 25 calls which are currently out of the money (going to expire worthless, yet the company is going to make a significant announcement (possibly with INTC) after the close and may push BEAS over $25 in after-hours trading.

If so, do you suppose I can call my broker and say I want to exercise before 4:30 est? I'll call them and ask as well, but it is interesting to hear an outside opinion. TIA.
