Pd is still tumbling. Closed $469b - 479a down 33.

There may still be some short situations around IMO.

There is production coming on stream... no doubt. But there will also be more shutdowns. I would no be surprised to see Coeur doing same with Rochester...and why not PanAm with two mines in Peru.

Still demand is holding strong..at least so far. I can see a price drop below $4. We had one in 1992-3 ...and went down to $3.25. so it can happen again... But the odds are much lower than in the early 90's when inventories were much higher.

May I suggest that in the same way the current deficit has not help silver prices, the possible surplus you suggest may not come as a nuisance. Look at what happened in the 1980's.

Silver market is a very small market...
