Great comments, Iso. FWIW, Chris Carolan, who has made some uncanny calls over the years, has December 14 as the final high of the bull market. Sometimes his cycles invert (October 1998 was a notable one), but they're always worth watching.

I wonder if those factors are enough?
What percentahe of the market is retirement funds?
What percentage of retirement funds in the market are under individual discretion as to allocation?
Perhaps people will need to feel economic tough love and need themoney for day to day things before they will really convert away from the dread ' buy and hold' disease....
