Great stories, TOTD

They definitely trump my paltry adventure. Fortunately, we did not have fur flying. In retrospect ours was a case of who would capture the critter first -- me or the dogs. I think it was fortunate (especially for the squirrel) that thanks to a lucky shot, I won. Otherwise I imagine we would still be cleaning up.

You sound like you have great aplomb in such situations. Hmmmm...I wonder if we live anywhere near each other, just in case.

I have you all beat. I have had possums, squirrels, snakes, flocks of birds, rabbits, families of field mice propagating in the cabinets, a skunk who came in the cat door every night and ate all the cat food, an escaped hamster named EYP who for all I know still roams the house, and a plague of locusts.
Well, ok, I made up the part about the plague.
