To All, Less than a week to go in this boot camp. Really long hours next week, though. Catch the bus at 645, return to the hotel at 830. And, yes, one of those is AM and one is PM. I thought Lincoln did something about this sort of thing when he was President. <g>

And only 8 days until I can do real investment work again. In theory, I can do it here, but without a quote machine or a computer, I don't quite see how. I will open an account or two just to grease the skids and since the folks are transferring assets, I will be well settled in Houston long before they arrive.

Well, the dry cleaners lost 4 dress shirts, so I'm off to the mall later today to spend some of their money. I am highly teed off because there is no way I will get the quality for the dollar at a mall that I got when I bought those shirts at Bluefly.

I have not had the chance to call on as many East Coast people as I had hoped and I beg for understanding. The hours and the logistics have conspired against me. The next trip to the area where the Sun comes from will be much less hectic and I'll see the folks who are still talking to me after this snub.

I want to thank without naming them the CT and MA folks who have allowed me to spend some time with them. You don't know how refreshing it is to talk to someone who is not totally a bull all of the time. And who doesn't think I am a hopeless crank case when I mention that blue chips are nice, but there can be valuation issues even for the best known household names. <g>

Happy Sunday,

The Knight with the Squeaky Armor
