This company has NEVER had a legitimately profitable year due to the sale of PRODUCTS and I doubt it ever will.

...and they just got rid of the reason for never having had a profitable year. All gum is doing is focusing on that part of the business that works. I realize that doesn't make sense to you but that is no one else's problem.

GUMM's gum expertise will now be working for Wrigley and by virtue of their capital resources I suspect Kehoe will be very successful in the functional gum business. GUMM should even prosper from that for the next few years. At worst it would be a break even since shared revenues cost them nothing.

The company has managed on a shoe string in the past. Now they find themselves with $30M in cash, no debt, one profitable product on the market an a jv nearing launch (which their only remaining financial obligation is to share in the profits). Yeah, Hank, doubt away about profitability.
