I tend to agree with you on just about every point... my only observation is these markets cannot get out of its own way, up or down... but, I think something big is going to happen very soon.....

I just drew up a chart on my spreadsheet with forward simulations. NDX is in this wedge just skirting along the bottom of the 20 week MA. My scenario sees it breaking through and going to the upper Bollinger Band which will also coincide with about a one year moving average at that point. It will then deflect and fall to the lower Bollinger associated with that MA (I know, I use all kinds of weird periods to compute Bollinger Bands) which will be the bear market low. The 20 week MA will fail to cross the one year at the first attempt. This fits with all the other info I am building up for this scenario.

The 20 week MA on the IQ charts looks different to the one I computed. My simple MA looks like their EMA and I don't what the simple MA they have is....
