CHICAGO (Reuters) - AT&T Wireless Services Inc. (NYSE:AWE - news), the nation's No. 3 wireless telephone operator, on Tuesday said second-quarter total revenues jumped 36.5 percent as customers spent more time on their phones and net subscriber additions met analysts' expectations.

Redmond, Washington-based AT&T Wireless, which was spun off from AT&T Corp. (NYSE:T - news) on July 9, said it added 668,000 mobile customers in the quarter, compared with analysts' forecasts of 665,000 to 670,000 new subscribers....

AT&T Wireless said it expected third-quarter net subscriber additions to range between 700,000 and 750,000, and a higher level of net subscriber additions for the fourth quarter.

...bodes well for the overall wireless market. CDMA additions and forecast can't be too bad.
