When you walk on a used car sales lot. Its not unusual for the salesman to tell you there's not a car here "I wouldn't buy".

How many of these same "financial analysts" also had buy recommendations on eToys, Pets.com, Webvan, et al until the bitter end or at least until it was obvious what was going to happen with those companies?

It is already obvious what will happen to Amazon. It really is not something to contemplate.
