Hey, there's nothing wrong with getting lathered up. People do change their minds. My political views have changed dramatically. Before I'd had experience of governments, it made sense to me to have governments organize stuff because it would be efficient, instead of having lots of people duplicating effort. Now I know that's a disastrous idea.

People do interact and do change their views, depending on ideas and arguments.

For example, religion used to be kept more or less separate from the state. Now we [in NZ] have Maori religious wackos conducting spirit cleansing rituals at government buildings around the world. nzherald.co.nz

But unless you have a fair bit of time, you are right and discussing PRS will fill your day with no evident change. Better to do something you really want to do.
