I think AOL wants to take over AMZN some time in the future (2 years?). AMZN is still investing big time in infrastructure and expansion because on the other hand they need the revenue because it's their working capital. So the 100M are not a lost investment for AOL... then, some time in the future, when AMZN goes chapter anything, they will be in the best position to get the rests for a nice price!

Thus, AMZN is a brilliant short in the meantime...
