Remember Intel bought both what were they called, Dialogic and Digicom (??)a couple of years ago.

That and common business software AND small form factor processor capablitity to power it.

The first use of the technology will be in voice activated call reception, sort of now, and then...

Isn't this (and other initiatives like this) a large portion of the "other" category that loses money. Intel drives the need for faster and faster PC's. That's not something new. Removing this and others may jeopardize unit sales for tomorrow. Of course AMD will continue to ride the coattails and make a little money off of the huge expenditure of Intel.
